Not sure what you’ll think about this recent article in the Globe and Mail. Do you think Mr Miser’s preconceptions about the library are typical of most non-users?
Do you think it is because we haven’t done enough to promote our services or do you think we will never service all of our community. Is it possible that there are simply library users and non-library users. I don’t use the local swimming pool – do you think they really care?
I realize the author is being rather glib (at least, I hope so) but aren’t you glad we are working in an environment where parents can send their kids to storytime rather than pay for a movie?
